Getting Started

A quick guide to trading shifts on AgentSwap.

What AgentSwap does
AgentSwap lets you trade shifts with other agents. If you can't work a shift, you can post it for someone else to cover. If you want to pick up extra time, you can propose to cover all or part of another agent's posted shift.
Posting a shift
From the Shift Board, use Post a Shift to make one of your shifts available. Other agents will see it and can propose to cover it.
Proposing to cover a shift
On the Shift Board, open a posted shift and choose Propose. You can offer to cover the whole shift or just part of it — each part is called a segment. If you've already proposed, the button reads Modify Proposal so you can adjust your offer.
Reviewing proposals on your shift
When agents propose to cover a shift you posted, you review their offers on the Proposal Review screen. For each segment you can Agree(accept that coverage) or Decline it. Agreed segments show as covered.
Revoking an agreed segment
If something changes after a segment has been agreed, either party can revoke it while the shift is still open or pending. The other party is notified, and a calendar cancellation is sent where applicable.
Notifications
You'll get notified when there's activity on your shifts and proposals. You can choose which email notifications you receive under My Account → Preferences. In-app notifications appear under the bell.
